Albert Einstein and Max Planck are the fathers of the quantum revolution. Both gentlemen were unhappy with the subsequent development of quantum mechanics, however. Neither of them were comfortable with the emphasis on probabilities, which elicited Einstein’s famous objection that, “God does not play dice with the universe!”
In later years, Einstein held fast to his belief that something was missing from quantum physics. He said there must be hidden quantum variables, and that the quantum theories would not be complete until those hidden variables were found.
Scientific research was presented in 2009-2010 announcing the discovery of Einstein’s Hidden Variables. Narrative slide shows based on the information presented at those scientific meetings has been prepared in a set of 5 talks, which can be understood and enjoyed by scientists and non-scientists alike.
Welcome to the new quantum revolution!
